As a native of the Florida Keys and Key Largo, I grew up roaming the mangroves and shores catching Snapper and Grunts, and then enjoying them for lunch. What I wasn’t catching and eating, I was catching and releasing.
In my early teen years, I started working on the local commercial boats bottom fishing for Yellowtail and Grouper. Once I graduated school, I went on to work at the IGFA, International Game Fish Association, where I adopted the “Conservation through Education” theory and practicing ethical angling, which I continue to promote.
As my passion for fishing continued to grow, I went on to obtain my USCG 100 Ton Master Offshore License and began working on the larger private sportfish yachts. I traveled the Worlds Ocean’s, making my home, port, and living extensively in the Bahamas, Hawaii, Virgin Islands and Bermuda. While offshore fishing, I target Wahoo, Sailfish, Swordfish and Mahi Mahi. I have fished many tournaments throughout the years, and most notably won the World Sailfish Championship and Bahamas Wahoo Championship.
My mission for you, the customer, is to have a great day out on the water; safety first, fun second, and catching fish is the icing on the cake – making your day a memorable one. I love to teach, not only my techniques, but also showing both children and adults, the excitement and adventure of fishing.
I wake up every day with the same excitement, enthusiasm and energy I have had throughout my life for fishing. I look forward to spending a day out on the water with you.
